A picnic is still a picnic

Once upon a time we did offer wedding cakes but Dad (whose job it was to deliver and set up said cakes at the wedding venues) was always a nervous wreck with the pressure of driving and assembling such precious cargo. With the help of Jess and Felicity we have convinced him to offer wedding cakes by post...as soon as he knew he wouldn’t be the designated delivery driver he was on board!
Spreading HOPE & JOY with our new Hamper collection
These beautiful gift hampers have been my personal project for the last few months and I’m thrilled with the final results! All of your favourite gift occasions are still covered (Birthday, New Baby etc) but going forward and encouraged by the hugely positive feedback we had at Christmas, all of our gift hampers now include a donation to our charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust.

My sister recently sent me this brilliant photo of my nieces busy baking in the kitchen at home. Their school summer fete was coming up and alongside the competition for a jam jar full of weeds (!) was a plate of four homemade biscuits.
