Once upon a time we did offer wedding cakes but Dad (whose job it was to deliver and set up said cakes at the wedding venues) was always a nervous wreck with the pressure of driving and assembling such precious cargo. With the help of Jess and Felicity we have convinced him to offer wedding cakes by post...as soon as he knew he wouldn’t be the designated delivery driver he was on board!

Even the most understated and intimate weddings these days seem to come with a long “to do” list for the couple about to say “I do” so we wanted to create delicious and attractive wedding cakes delivered to your door without the fuss and seemingly endless options!

We are delighted to be offering our own fabulous two tier wedding cake, made to our award-winning* recipe, expertly iced with Palm Oil free sugar paste and delivered mail order.

There seem to be endless suppliers of wedding cakes online and the supermarkets are even offering their own ranges. Here at Meg Rivers we wanted to keep it simple and with no hidden costs; the idea being you can do-it-yourself with the decorations if you fancy a real showstopper of a centrepiece.

There might be a particular family keepsake that you want to put as pride of place on top of your wedding cake or, as an alternative, we have sourced some tasteful sugar roses in three colour options which you can purchase online with us in addition to the wedding cakes. Or why not talk to your local florist - they will have lots of great ideas about including fresh cut flowers on your wedding cake. In other words, consider our wedding cakes as a very delicious blank canvas!
