We are a modern, Certified B Corp bakery and gift business based in the heart of the Cotswolds, producing cakes and treats from recipes developed by our founder, Meg Rivers.

Established more than 30 years ago, Meg built an unparalleled reputation for quality and service, baking happiness, selling cakes by mail order and delivering directly to customers all over the UK and further afield. Meg sadly passed away from cancer in 2001, but her name lives on and our bakery continues to flourish, with the same focus on outstanding products and fantastic customer service.

Our Cotswold bakery remains a family business, run with the help of my three younger sisters. Our lives were also touched by cancer when our mother, Joy, died while we were still children. Our mission is to continue the Meg Rivers name in memory of Meg and Joy's love of home baking, spreading happiness and raising money for cancer charities while continuing to bake delicious, wholesome cakes just as we would for our own families.

Since 2021, we have been proud to be a Certified B Corp, meaning our business has met rigorous social and environmental standards and demonstrated a commitment to goals beyond shareholder profit. Pursuing purpose as well as profit underpins what we believe makes Meg Rivers, and its loyal customers, so special.
