All our fruit cakes are made to the same 30 year old recipe. We soak the vine fruits overnight in French brandy, adding plenty of nuts before baking slowly in small batches. We cover in a generous layer of natural marzipan before following with ivory fondant icing. Finally we hand decorate the beautiful royal icing green design on top of this Christmas centrepiece.
We will be decorating these to order and orders will close before mid December so please consider ordering early to secure your showstopper.

How to cut your Meg Rivers Rich English Fruit Cake.
- Use a sharp and serrated knife (a good bread knife is ideal).
- Cut in a sawing motion from the outside of the cake towards the centre.
- Ideally clean the blade between each slice.
